Job Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for project procurement of construction materials (mainly rebar).
2. Conduct periodic market research to understand price level, supply-demand relationships, and supplier conditions for mainstream categories.
3. Develop suppliers, assess their credibility, product quality, production and delivery capabilities and price competitiveness, and to select the most qualified supplier for each procurement.
4. Supervise the production progress and quality inspection of purchased products to ensure timely delivery and full compliance with project requirements.
5. Manage the issuance process of relevant documents for procurement, delivery, and receipt.
6. Risk management,
including dealing with potential quality objections, delivery delays, price fluctuations, etc. Work closely with suppliers and the team to provide solutions.
7. Continuously optimize the efficiency of procurement processes, reduce procurement costs, and create greater profit margins through data analysis, resource integration, etc.
Job Requirements:
1. In-depth understanding of the UAE rebar market, with extensive experience in collaborating closely with mainstream rebar factories, stockists and distributors, and maintaining good relationships with their sales and management team.
2. Over 3 years of project procurement experience in the UAE construction materials category (with rebar as the main focus), familiar with brand approval, production and delivery processes.
3. Experience in communicating with major consultant companies for UAE projects and handling special cases such as product quality objections.
4. Strong negotiation skills and resource accumulation,
providing timely and efficient quotation support for inquiries and striving for competitive prices.
5. Strong data organization and analysis skills, proficient in preparing reports and ledgers to calculate profit margins and delivery progress.
6. Strong learning ability, willing to accept new things, embrace changes, and adjust work direction according to company strategy.
7. Possess a UAE driver's license and own car.
8. Knowledge of Arabic Language would be added advantage
