Safely operate a heavy bus, ensuring the safety of passengers and other road users.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving and while the vehicle is stationary.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition.
Keep the bus clean and presentable for passengers, including regular interior and exterior cleaning.
Greet passengers, assist with boarding, and provide information about routes, schedules, and fares.
Collect fares and issue tickets or receipts to passengers as necessary.
Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when dealing with passengers, addressing their questions and concerns.
Ensure the comfort and safety of passengers,
including assisting passengers with disabilities.
Maintain accurate records of routes, schedules, and vehicle maintenance.
Coordinate with dispatch or supervisor to report delays, accidents, or other incidents.
Follow designated routes and schedules, while making adjustments as needed due to traffic, weather, or other circumstances.
Handle emergencies, such as vehicle breakdowns or accidents, by following established procedures and ensuring passenger safety.
Keep up-to-date with relevant training, certifications, and licensing requirements.
Maintain knowledge of the local area to provide helpful information to passengers.
Maintain a neat and professional appearance in accordance with company dress code.
Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Abu Dhabi:
Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
License/Certification:
- Valid UAE driving license (preferred)
- Heavy License (preferred)
